the challenge
realising a new multifunctional and sustainable community space within an unused area with the precise intention of redeveloping it: a new use as a cohousing integrated in the green and completed with shared outdoor spaces.

the solution
the project presents a central building which, within the renovation of the living areas, is enriched with shared services. The communal areas for catering, kitchens, laboratories, the gymnasium, the theatre and spaces for relationships are placed in the green area, using part of the existing buildings but enlarging their surfaces and integrating a vegetable garden, an apiary, accommodation and recreation areas into the surrounding park. Giving life to paths that thus become new protagonists of new links, functions and containers for future users.
